Divine Decision

Every time we pray for a job, or to sell a house, or for the sale to go through or for a check in the mail we are inviting God to participate in our finances. Yet for many of us we exclude God from our finances through the decision to disobey his command to put his kingdom first. God says there is a way to open the door to his blessing and a way to close it. Which means we have a decision to make to invite the divine in our financial situation.

Debt allows those without money to live like they have a lot. In the moment debt feels like freedom because I am free to buy what I can't actually afford. But that feeling of freedom doesn't last for long. Debt is bondage. It becomes our master and we are its servant.
