JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:  

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining financial records and transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements for QuadCity Christian Church.

 

Responsibilities: 

- Maintains financial records and transactions.
- Develop a system to account for financial transactions. 
- Help to define and establish bookkeeping policies and procedures.
- Maintain and balance the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.

- Advises management on local, state, and federal legal requirements.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Remitting payroll, income, sales, and use taxes.
- Processing employees' timesheets and managing payroll.

 

Relationships: 

This role reports to the Executive Director of Operations (Frances Mincieli).
