JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
The Prescott Valley Student Pastor will lead and organize an effective student ministry (MSM & HSM). They are executing fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and evangelism within the Prescott Valley Campus context.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the student ministry vision and direction set forth by the Student Pastor.
- Recruit, develop, and maintain student ministry volunteers.
- Contribute to the student team in the areas of content creation and ministry planning.
- Manage the student ministry’s “Connections Pathway” on the Prescott Valley Campus.
- Ensure there is a healthy volunteer culture within the Student Ministry.
- Oversee pastoral care of families within the Prescott Valley Student Ministry.
- Occasional weekend hosting (welcome, announcements, communion, baptisms, etc.) on the Prescott Valley Campus.
Key Result Areas:
- Maintain the health and effectiveness of the Prescott Valley Students' experience.
- Maintain the health and effectiveness of the Prescott Valley student volunteers.
- Oversee pastoral care of families within the Prescott Valley Students Ministry.
Relationships:
This role reports to the Prescott Student Pastor (TBD) with additional oversight by the NextGen Pastor (TBD).
