JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
The Prescott Student Pastor will lead and organize an effective student ministry (Preteen, MSM & HSM). They are executing fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and evangelism within the Prescott Valley Campus context.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the student ministry vision and direction set forth by the NextGen Pastor.
- Recruit, develop, and maintain student ministry volunteers.
- Contribute to the student team in the areas of content creation and ministry planning.
- Manage the student ministry’s “Connections Pathway” on the Prescott Campus.
- Ensure there is a healthy volunteer culture within the Student Ministry.
- Oversee pastoral care of families within the Prescott Students Ministry.
- Occasional weekend hosting (welcome, announcements, communion, baptisms, etc.) on the Prescott Campus.
Key Result Areas:
- Maintain the health and effectiveness of the Prescott Students' experience.
- Maintain the health and effectiveness of the Prescott Students volunteers.
- Oversee pastoral care of families within the Prescott Students Ministry.
Relationships:
This role reports to the NextGen pastor (TBD)
