JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
The NextGen Pastor is responsible for fulfilling the mission of QuadCity Christian Church by leading a successful Birth-12th grade ministry. This is largely a leadership position overseeing both the QuadCity Kids and QuadCity Student ministry teams.
Responsibilities:
- Speak vision and direction into both Kids & Students Ministry (All Campuses).
- Oversee the development of the Kids Ministry Staff.
- Oversee the development of the Students Ministry Staff.
- Develop and Manage a cohesive engagement pathway from Birth-12th grade.
- Ensure there is a healthy volunteer culture within the Kids and Students Ministry.
- Oversee pastoral care of families within the Kids and Students Ministry.
- Execute upon, manage, and improve the Family Connection Pathway.
Key Result Areas:
- Maintain the health and effectiveness of QuadCity Students.
- Maintain the health and effectiveness of QuadCity Kids.
- Maintain a healthy pathway for families from Birth-12th Grade.
Relationships:
This role reports to the Executive Pastor (Brendan Krismer) and directly leads the Kids Pastor (Cory Chatham), Student Pastor (TBD), and co-leads PV Kids Director (Amy Brush) and PV Students Pastor (TBD). It also oversees any QuadCity resident in the area of Kids or Students Ministry.
